Batch Convert Multiple Documents to PDF

Converting files one by one is fine for a single document, but batch mode saves real time when you have a whole folder to process.

What batch mode does

Drop up to 20 files at once. They are queued and converted one after another, each with its own progress bar and status.

Queue and progress

Files are processed sequentially on your device so even large queues stay responsive. You can remove a file from the queue at any time.

Download options

Each finished file has its own download button. Once two or more files are ready, a ZIP button appears that bundles everything with original filenames preserved.

Performance guidance

All work happens in browser memory. For the smoothest experience, keep total batch size under about 200 MB and avoid converting many heavy files in parallel tabs.

When batch mode beats single conversion

If you regularly send five, ten or twenty documents at once — an invoice run, a contract pack, a thesis appendix — batch mode is the difference between one click and an evening of repetitive work. Mixed batches of Word and PDF files convert in a single pass, each file to its respective output format, with every result downloadable on its own.

Prepare the batch

A tidy batch converts faster and downloads more predictably. Collect the files you want in one folder, give them the names you want to keep before converting (they carry into the ZIP), and group the heavy ones together. The queue processes documents sequentially in your browser, which is exactly why keeping the total under roughly 200 MB keeps everything responsive.

Track progress per file

Each document in the queue has its own status: waiting, converting, done or failed. A failure cancels only that single file; the rest continue without interruption. When one file fails it is almost always one of the classic suspects — a password-protected document or an old binary .doc — and saving that file as .docx usually resolves it immediately.

Keep memory use comfortable

Batch conversion runs in browser memory, so plan for it: close unused tabs, avoid running conversions in several tabs at once, and give a large batch a quiet minute to finish. The converter reports honest per-file status, and because conversion is free, splitting one oversized batch into two smaller ones is always a sensible option.
