By using Convert.rest you agree to these terms. They are short, because the service is simple: free, unlimited document conversion that runs in your browser.
1. The service
Convert.rest provides free browser-based conversion between Word and PDF formats. The service is available without registration, without watermarks, and without usage limits.
2. Your content stays yours
Your documents are processed on your device and never uploaded. You retain all rights to your files at all times; we claim no license over any content you convert.
3. Acceptable use
You may only convert files you have the right to process. You must not use the service for unlawful content or to violate third-party rights.
4. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". While we continuously improve conversion quality, we do not guarantee that every document converts perfectly — especially files with unusual fonts, encryption, or corruption. Always verify the output before relying on it.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Because files never leave your device, loss of originals through our service is technically impossible.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be noted on this page with a new revision date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
